Discussion of OPEN WOUND with students at Michigan Technological University

Jason Karlawish will talk via Skype with the students in Professor Carolyn Weissbach's class "Your Health: Who Decides? Perspectives on Inquiry."

The class evaluates perspectives and viewpoints in decisions made by individuals, health care providers, public health practitioners, government officials and the legal system. Topics addressed include the bioethical implications of human subject research, geriatrics/gerontological issues for a society with an aging population, and healthcare reform.
