Friends in the City is part of the Friends Center City Retirement Community (FCCRC) is a Quaker-based non-profit whose mission is to connect seniors living in Center City and its surrounding neighbors.

Dr. Jason Karlawish will be doing a LIVE book talk event with Friends in the City through zoom. Throughout this book talk, Jason will be reading portions of his newest book, “The Problem of Alzheimer’s,” answering questions from the audience, and informing the viewers of the modern-day crisis of Alzheimer’s disease to bring awareness to the complex past while promoting a positive future if we, as a community, work towards it.
